The Apple Land of India or land of the Gods, that’s what they call Himachal. Located North-West of India; bordered by Haryana in south, Uttrakhand (Uttranchal) on South-East, Tibet on the East and Jammu Kashmir towards the North. It’s claimed to be the most beautiful states of the Country.

Loaded with all natural beauties; peaks covered with white snow, colorful flower fields, melting glaciers, fast flowing rivers, lakes, valleys and deep gorges (narrow valleys). Shimla, very famously know as summer capital of British, is indeed now the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal was declared a state on 25th of January 1971.

Since my first visit to this heaven on earth, its bring me back here time and again. This is the place to enjoy the true natural beauty. Adventure sports here that never let you feel bored are a bonus. Different times of year bring into this place a unique look and yes all of them compliment each other with same beauty.

This is the Cottage where we were accommodated by the friendly local family in old Manali. Reaching this place is quite a challenge by itself but its worth the effort.

The scenic view when you step out of your room is just amazing.

And, when it rains that's how you see the clouds going pass your window.

Now this is the time when you not only enjoy the beautiful day but get the time out to sit with your neighbours that are often foreigners with hot cup of tea and a hearty chat.

to be continued...
